Channing Comedy Tatum

A recent article in the 24 Hours Toronto newspaper had the headline "Funny Newbie" and said "Channing Tatum still getting the hang of comedy." His new movie 22 Jump Street, starring him and Jonah Hill comes out on June 13. Channing says he has never been in a comedy role before 21 Jump Street and still is not sure if he is as funny as he hopes to be in his movies. I recently watched 21 Jump Street on Netflix and can say Channing brought humour. I think the second time around he would be even more hilarious, so 22 Jump Street is a movie i would watch right when it is released in theatres. Do you think he is funny or do you think anyone partnered with Jonah Hill could seem funny?

Who's fault are the stars in The Fault in Our Stars?

A modern day Romeo and Juliette, The Fault in Our Stars is a teen romance where two cancer fighters fall in love. It stars Hazel (Shailene Woodley) and Augustus (Ansel Elgort). I have not seen the movie yet and am not sure if I want to for two reasons, Shailene and Ansel. I have yet to see a movie with Ansel Elgort in it, so he is not an actor who I am not familiar with or interested in. Shailene Woodley is currently most popular for her role in divergent, but she is not my favourite actor. I feel that they should have picked a different cast. Who would you pick?

Take a look at the trailer, do they fit their roles?

A Thousand Ways to Laugh

Seth Macfarlane is at again with his new movie A Thousand Ways to Die in the West, which has been released into theaters today! I have seen his movie Ted and although a film about a talking teddy bear does not seem to be practical, his original comical touch is there. An article in the 24 Hours Toronto newspaper discusses that for his newest movie Macfarlane is using the same old pranks that have been seen before. Being a fan of his hit television shows like Family Guy, American Dad and The Clevland Show, I would find myself going to see this movie as well.

There are also rumors about a Ted 2 coming out. Are Seth Macfarlane films something you have to watch the day of the opening or can they wait for a half price Tuesday? Comment your thoughts!
